| Overview |
Projects relate only to Technical Documents, and should
not normally have to be used. However the use of Projects will
generally assist in solving the following problems:
- A Jobno reference in excess of 8 characters in length
is required.
- A long Document No reference is required over the
defaults of:
- 8 characters for ones Own Documents
- 15 characters for Other People's Documents
In order to make use of long references, then the Job for which the
problem occurs must be linked into a Project, which must first have
been set up. When a JobNo is linked into a Project, then the Project
Reference is immediately available on any generated document or report
wherever the Jobno appears. The same applies to Technical Documents
once the Project Document Reference has been entered. For more
