Sometime around 2010, pup3ls at St Fillans School, under their teacher [whose name I have lost], arranged for someone [me - one of the Gents, and one of the members of the original Friends of Linn Park] to meet them at "The Beach" which had been subject of a grant to improve - viz create access to it.
A link to the beach project is on the Useful Links page. The project was for just under £50,000, and has certainly met its objective being: "This project will transform a neglected and seldom used area of Linn Park into an accessible site for the community."
It has suffered quite a lot of abuse - the two picnic bench's were burnt, and the information boards ripped up by fishermen. Anyway, the video is absoluely lovely and a tribute to the school.
It consists of several sections as follows:

The original is in "vob" format and is huge at nearly 600 Mb in size. Plans are afoot to split into 6 or 7 smaller parts. Anyone competent to do this PLEASE email the Gents.
