  • Scanned copy of the Cathcart Heritage Trail leaflet published by Glasgow District Council circa 1990. The copy belongs to Robert Paterson a Canadian citizen whose family roots are in Glasgow. A fortunate meeting on Friday 10th June 2011 followed by a pint in the Old Smiddy ensured a copy.

  • The [first] Friends of Linn Park. The Facebook page for the original group may be used to send comments to the Council. It is temporarily closed following a lawyer's letter by the owners of the dogs who caused the death of a deer in the park. The group closed, but the web site which records their achievements and history remains: The site at http://friendsoflinnpark.btck.co.uk/ was closed by BT on 24th May 2021, but a mirrored copy has been made and for the record is available at http://tdocplus.co.uk/friends_of_linn_park. At the time of the move, in the eight years it was live, it attracted nearly 57,500 visitors. Utterly amazing !
  • A second Friends of Linn Park group was started. It has a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Friendsoflinnpark2017/ [NB you need to be registered on Facebook]. They setup a free web site at: friendsoflinnpark on doodlekit.com but that is no longer. In 2020 a free web site appeared at: https://www.nolesserpanda.com/demo-sites/folp/# but it does not appear to be updated.
